| The Yardogs 11/27/02 We played Wednesday night at Brock's annual Thanksgiving day party. We had a great time & hope you all did as well. I can't think of a better way to kick off the Thanksgiving day weekend with friends & fun! Yes, sadly we were burned by the Turkey Calling contestants-they had a touch of microphoneitis...Apeherently not enough "Toms" in the croud to get em wound up...Maybe next year! |

| The Yardogs 10/19/02 The Yardogs played an "outdoor" gig outside of Amoret Missouri October 19th. The Amoret Music Festival (essentially consisting of the Dogs & an old aquantance we met-David Paul who some of you may have seen years ago as fiddle player for Denver Locke) was on 40 acres that was mowed & "de-bugged" set with a large fire pit & bonfire, with water, electricity, and an tile old barn from 1910. There was beer, soda,tea, ice and food provided not to mention the Buffalo they shipped in! Many of the folks camped out overnight. The Dogs played from about 9:00 to 12:00 and then we played around the camp fire. Thanks to John & Mark Mueller for having us & we'll look forward to next year! | Song Writer's Night 10/06/02 Saundra, Chris and Roger had a great timePlaying at Drafters on Sunday October 6th. As the Chiefs had a 3:00 game, we played from 6:30 to 9:30. | Yardogs Music We are currently working (well I wouldn't say working) on our first CD at Crisbro studios. It will have a variety of Yardogs tunes new and old and will be available only at our live shows or through this web site via Chrisbro Productions. | Lazy Daze Chris & I had a great time working with the Lazy Daze boys both here at home at Crisbro Studios & downtown Kansas City at Chapman Recording Studios. After a trial run at Crisbro Ryan, Patrick, Tony & Brian laid down a 5 song EP at Chapman's with Chris on drums. It sounded great. Congratulations guys! |
